About
An independent firm built on practical insurance experience
ISPG helps insurance organizations, condominium boards, attorneys, and other professional clients make better-documented decisions through disciplined analysis of insurance operations, insurance programs, professional practices, and engagement evidence.
What we compete on
ISPG does not compete primarily on insurance placement or premium savings. We are not a broker and do not sell insurance. We compete on judgment, clarity, documentation, disciplined analysis, defensible work product, and professional experience.
Our work is designed to survive scrutiny — from a buyer in diligence, from a board member who disagrees, from a carrier auditor, or from opposing counsel. That standard shapes how every engagement is scoped, documented, and reviewed.
Founder
Chris Burch
Founder and Principal Consultant
Chris Burch brings more than 35 years of insurance-industry experience, including agency ownership and management, personal and commercial insurance, life and health insurance, underwriting exposure, claims experience, staff management, client communication, and insurance operations.
Engagements are accepted only where the questions fall within that experience. ISPG does not offer legal, engineering, actuarial, or regulatory opinions, and does not perform public adjusting or claims negotiation.
How we operate
Independence first
Every prospective engagement goes through a conflict review before work begins. Restrictions, if any, are documented.
Scope in writing
What is included, what is excluded, and what assumptions are being made are stated before the engagement starts and repeated in the report.
Evidence-linked conclusions
Each material observation references the document, interview, provision, or assumption behind it.
Required quality review
A documented checklist must be completed before any report becomes final.
Secure by design
Client information is separated by organization and engagement, with access limited by role and assignment.
Founder-led, selectively staffed
Employees and vetted specialists support engagements; the founder retains final authority on scope, findings, and opinions.
